Workshops run hourly between 10.00am-5.00pm

inPractice are running craft workshops about computing using a cardboard computer. Using common craft materials children will be encouraged to build their own computer and see just how the real thing gets put together. And at the end you get to take your paper machine home.

It's relevant to mention that computing is becoming compulsary in all school KS1 syllabuses from September 2014.

“At the very least, the children come away from my sessions knowing what computers are, what’s inside them and that programs are what makes them clever,” says inPractice's Dan Bridge, who'll be leading the workshops.

These workshops are interesting, interactive events for all the family. They aim to demonstrate that gaming isn’t all about macho ‘boys toys’. On the contrary, we like to believe that gaming can be valuable as a fun learning tool, showing children the creative potential of digital technology.

These hourly workshops are primarily aimed at children under 10 and their Parents/Guardians. However, anyone is welcome throughout the week.
